I used to think the same thing but when I went from a 48-49 and then a 49-50 in TS....I won most the games but a few here and there to players with better stats. From a 49-50, it took about 10 games and I probably won 8 outta the ten but went positive every game and consistently beat statistically better players. You can't lose to lower levels, period!
Edit - After reviewing about a dozen of games, I can see why. Ya'll indeed played lower levels and when ya'll played 50's, he always went negative.

It doesnt matter how good or bad you do in the game.. It matters what rank your teammates are and what rank the other team is. The best way to level up is to get a friend to make a one month and just quit out of games so they have like -50 exp.. Then go in and you will level up very fast. Also if the other team is all Generals you will level up faster as opposed to if the team was full of sergants.
