That's an awful example, Final Boss competes in a tournament filled with one goal, to win, they compete with what we consider the best and sometimes come out on top, that isn't open to interpretation, music, and by extension, art, has no set measure, and interpretation varies from place to place. Also, Final Boss is/was the best at MLG, that doesn't mean they are the best at Halo, they excel in the conditions they play in, just like well, genre's. Perhaps they might excel with time and practice at other gametypes and rules, but just because MLG says their rules are most competitive doesn't mean Bungie isn't any less wrong in saying BTB is most competitive.

You once again bring in the Genre thing, which I just don't understand, you state yourself that what is "good" in each genre is different, but you still called the bands we posted, some of which are considered excellent by that genre's standards, bad. You came into this thread arguing that all the bands we posted were terrible, and yet they obviously pertain to what Austin is looking for, and are good in his, and the genre's, eyes, and it was obvious from his selection provided he was asking for a blend of nu-metal/emo/grunge
