I have recently seen I ♥ Huckabees, Son of Rambow and Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

Son of Rambow is a pretty funny and somewhat standard British comedy- very funny but with some very sentimental overtones. It is certainly not a feel good comedy, but it is still very enjoyable.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall is an absolutely hilarious film. I have a thing for near-gross out comedy, and this has that up to the eye balls (I'm sorry, but drinking hinders my vocabulary and descriptive prowess). Russell Brand is surprisingly likable as his British rock star persona, and the film has some truly magnificent moments.

And I have to say that I ♥ Huckabees is by far my favourite film of the last few months. It is the most bizarre combination of low-brow humour and high-brow themes. It is the absolutely insane account of an environmentalist going through an existential crisis and seeks advice from existential detectives Lily Tomlin and Dustin Hoffman. I cannot really do this film justice by writing up some of story, it simply has to be watched to be properly appreciated- fortunately isohunt has a torrent for it (demonoid is without it).
