Themed Clip of the Week
HoC's First CASH Contest Ok guys. In the launch thread I told you guys that we'd be having contests for CA$H quite often. I didn't forget about you guys, we've just been working our collective asses off getting everything squared away on the site. The site is looking pretty sexxy now, so I think it's time to get the first contest rolling, full steam ahead. We'll be having a 'Themed Clip of the Week' contest, ran weekly, by one of our own mods. Cipha's been riding my nuts pretty hard to get the shot at running it, and he ran the Snipe of the Month contest before, so I figured that I'd let him do the first week. Next week's contest will likely be ran by Will, since he's wanting the shot at doing it also, so that should be a good indication of who's going to stay on top of shit and get it done. It will be a rotating contest, with a new theme every week. We'll leave submissions open for 1 week, then the next week we'll release the clips that we've received and allow the members to vote on them. Not that terribly hard, you just have to be able to prove that it's YOUR clip, not someone else's. That can be resolved any way you see fit, whether it's by holding the back button after you get a nasty ass clip, or keeping the gameplay saved until the contest is done. What's the prize ?? $25. Easy money for doing something you already love, playing Halo and doing your best to get montage worthy kills. It's a no brainer if you ask me. Play, Record, GET PAID !! Money will be sent VIA Paypal, personal check, or we might even attempt to send cash, if your parents wont help you out on getting your money. This week's theme is Best Multi Kill in the H3 Beta. I know that a lot of you don't have the beta, and don't worry we won't be doing the beta kills forever, but since the beta is only out for a short time, I figured that we might as well get as many clips as we can from it. There ya go. Best Multi Kill in the H3 Beta, prove it's yours, upload the clip to Mythica/equivalent, PM Me and Cipha the link to the vid, and BAM -- Get a hot $25. Simple, right ?? Lucky me. A friend and myself split the cost of Crackdown last night and played beta all night. Thing is, now he is going to the beach for 3 days and he is letting me borrow his 360 so i can play h3b for the next few days. Hopefully I can get some amazing footage so I can submit some clips in the up coming contest. btw, is there a limit on the number of contestants, or will all entries be excepted?
