This has been discussed way to many times before, and there have been multiple threads. The point system didn't work out well on omega because the marketplace and everything to do with points died out. So don't expect them to come back, they only cause drama and arguements.

Honestly, for what we went out to accomplish I think the points system was hands down the best thing I did to Halo Omega. Good/Bad/Ugly we created a virtual halo economy. While I would bring them back we had alot of discussion. 1. They pulled the 3.6.x version off the shelf, we were running 3.5.x. They might have a newer one up and working but I havn't checked in the last month. SO right now its not even an option.

If it were an option, and lately I have been putting SERIOUS though into it. We have decided... for now.... that we arn't gonna do it. Things change and next month there could easily be a point system. That being said I am reopening this thread for some further discussion.

I never really liked the points. Some people treated it as real money and would bitch and moan over the little unimportant things.

I agree vorlx. That was part of the reason i chose to be active a the time. Now, i just love the community. I kinda miss pager though. I used that pretty often.

I would like the point system because those people who make other people sigs do not get anything in return but a thank you. So you should bring it back along with the point shop (the place where can buy stuff with the points you have) so people that do things for other people actually have something in return.

Why the hell do I want points for making sigs? Or anybody else that makes sigs..? I mean, if you are that much of a fucking capitalist to ask some dumb e-points for a forum signature then please leave the internet. A normal thank you or a ^Thank you (name by sig maker)^ under the sig should be fine, and if you can't live with that then again, leave the internet.

I personally don't need anything in return for sigs, except for a thank you under the sig. That's all I am asking, I don't want anything else. And I think most of the other sig makers here would agree that a little thank you is fine.
