Well I casually suggested a GHII tourney in that other thread and people seemed to respond to it.

Well Kossick and I were thinking about running a tournament. This thread is just to see about how many people are interested to get a general idea if we could get a good tourney off the ground.

So post here if you're interested and if any of your friends play tell them to sign up to play as well.

I'll join. Set it up by Hard Division/Expert Division as for song choices I'm unsure I think we should just have a vote. (I know you didn't say suggest things but I did it anyways and this should be obvious stuff).

that's a good idea. i was thinking of having one of the people choose a song and their opponent choose one, then doing a random song i pick. and whoever gets the best cumulative score (and they have to take a pic of their scores.)

btw did you ever get all 5* on hard?

nope. I got to the 6th set all 5 stars down except "Who Was In My Room Last Night" (I hate that song). Stuck on the sixth set. Same with expert I beat all of the songs on expert up to the sixth set. Its because of "Crazy On You", "Trippin' On a Hole in a Paper Heart" and "Freya". Just have a problem with those songs.

The problem with the Tourney is legit scores because if you already have established high scores but I guess that can be avoided by limiting it to newspaper pics. We're going to have to do the manly trust dance:

I'm proud to say that I borrowed my friend's PS2, downloaded the GHII Explorer Mod, installed Cry For Eternity by Dragonforce and beat the song.

92% notes.

It was absolutely unbelievable. After that I was just in shock. It was disgustinggggg. There's 3200 notes btw.

i know how you feel. i go all 5's on the first 6 groups, but the last 2 groups i still need like 8 or 9 songs.

and on expert i'm on the last group except i can't beat institutionalized or hangar 18.

and about the scores i thought about that too. i figured that nobody prior to the tournament would have taken pics of their score so they would have to take pics of all their scores so we know they're new if they didn't beat their old high score.
