idk if anyone else on this site is like be but when i come here to HoC i click "New Posts".

i dont search through the forums or sub-forums because i am lazy. that New Posts button is the only reason why i go to forums, it is the best thing here. hell thats why i stopped going to Halo-Pro forums, they got rid of their New Posts button when they got a new skin and it got retarded.



but ever since Halo News and Misc News have been added that is all that i get in the New Posts function.

i mean i come here alot (just dont post in EVERYTHING i open), so i press that button alot. but 50% of the time the results are just the bots that are here.




idk if you can do this with these forums but can their be an option to block certain things from new posts?

just one little thing i thought i should let people know.

You could just block their profiles all together.

This was a concern with putting the Misc bot . I exclude them from the top 15 but can't do anything about the new posts option. The misc news should only be about 8 posts a day, if, and the halo news is random, some days more some days less.

You can probably block them and keep them from spamming your new posts. Worth a shot.

hate to sound like a retard but i only ever use these forums for coming here checking out whats in new posts and then posting. then i repeat.

so how do i block their stuff?

i really only wanna block misc news because halo news keeps me updated on some pretty cool things. misc news just takes forever to load shitty videos...


i dont see a block button thinger.... but i was also very bad at "wheres waldo"... so yeah....

Usercp->Miscelaneous on the left side-> Buddy/Ignore list. Try that.

That would be a good idea, to disallow the bots posts to show on the New Posts section...

If they couldn't see yours, it would be hilarious to block all of the mods. Heh.
