Ok guys i know tourneys are a nice part to this site but it seems everyone gets mad when people don't show up. So here is a set of rules i put together

first missed tourney: warning and ban from one tourney

second missed tourney: 6 hour ban from website and ban from 2 tourneys

third missed tourney: one day ban and ban from 3 tourneys

fourth missed tourney: one day ban and uneligable to play in any tourneys at halownage

Now these rules reset after 6 months. so if you miss one tourney and then 5 months later u miss another one then you receive the penalty of the second missed tourney

We already have rules/guidlines that apply to missing a tourney/cheating in a tourney. The only reason why this last one's date was changed was because only 4 teams could actually play.

these honestly arent fair...

just because you cant do a tournament on that specific day so you drop out, doesnt mean you should be penalized for it...

i mean, maybe if the person signs up for 4 straight tournaments and then never shows, dont let them into the next one but comon...

I'm pretty sure thats what he means, Your not gonna get penalized for signing up and then dropping out as long as you give the Person who is running the tournament enough time to find a replacement for you or your team. But if you were to just sign up for them and not show without telling anything thats when it will cause problems.

last night doesnt really count as people not showing up because there was an important update on xbox live making some people not able to get on.
