How much?

I think you can get a Pansonic TX26LXD70 for about £450. Panasonic LXD70's are some of the best LCD's you can buy.

My LMD70 (same, just without 100Hz) is so much better than my nan's Samsung. Picture quality and gaming (Samsung lags a little) are a lot better.

Trust me mate, they're a lot better than the Samsung's. Unless you get the new M87 models, but they're 1080p and really expensive.

DON'T get Olevia Tv's.

At least not for gaming.

I have one and its great picture quality and it is very versatile, but it lags horribly...

I have a Samsung and it lags a bit, on guitar hero I put it at 36ms offset. Too bad I cant do that with Halo

Samsung's are the best lcd's.Panasonic are decent and a bit cheaper than the Sammies.Pioneer makes the best plasmas but are expensive.Just compare the specs before you but.Response time and contrast ratio are important.

Incorrect. My Panasonic was more expensive than the equivalent Samsung and is much better.

Trust me -- I've got both of them in my house to compare. I can't even describe how much better the Panasonic looks.

Incorrect. That is only your opinion. There are many different models you may be comparing an older model. They improve every year.I have a Samsung lcd and it Looks better than Panasonics ive seen.Samsungs are more expensive then comparable Panasonics.Check out reviews such as at cnet.com .Btw another good lcd to consider is Sharp aquos.
