yeah, but than it gives them like 3-4 years to get it made.....seems like a lot of time, so i would think the announcement would come later.

Based on Halo 3, they need alot of time to make it. This announcement could just be that they have decided to make a fourth, and not actually started on it but you never know.

The Halo series is done, there won't be another one... However, a new marathon game is more probable. Of course they could've just used this title to get attention for a new marathon game because they know less people would buy it if they didn't know it was related to the Halo series.

that's what i was thinking too, bc i thought marathon was next for bungie.

It probably won't be called Halo 4, like they said, that story arc is done. We all know they're going to develop a new shooter closely related to Halo, or perhaps still in the story somewhere.
