i can read tabs, but only if it's single notes and even then i play it really slow.

so basically i'm complete garbo at guitar, but at gh i'm decent.

i am the EXACT same with guitar.


pooner, try Bass. trust me, you will destroy. i bought a bass, an amp, the case, a tuner, patch cord all for $100.

bass is really easy, there are no chords and the riffs are really easy in newer music. no YYZ shit.

Battle mode looks gay. I guess it could be fun but why is there 'attacks?' It would be impossible to recover lol. Like if it was lefty flip it would take a little to figure out.

at first i thought they replaced faceoff and pro faceoff with battle mode and i thought it was really stupid, then i saw that they just added the mode. i do think that it's kinda dumb, but you still gotta give credit to them for trying to mix it up a little bit.

and zapple there's a little section about battle mode in the wikipedia link on the first post.

I have currently moved onto Hard mode on GH2 and I honestly cannot beat Woman, the solo just fucks me up so bad!

haha that's seriously where EVERYBODY gets stuck at first. i know the feeling. just save your sp for the solo if you aren't doing that already. you'll beat it really soon though.

Bass is easy in bands that have terrible bass players. When looking at bands with great bass players, trying to play bass like they do is near impossible.
