I see some people on here with text sigs. I think cipha nd nightvision have them. They have like no background. How do i make those?

Cipha and nightvision have sigs that just have white or pink backgrounds. What are you talking about?

When you make a New Document, Select Transparent instead of anything else like White or Backround Color.

Or you could put the color of the forum as your backround and it is kinda like a Transparent backround.

Once you have that just add Text and whatever to it.

You have to save it as .PNG or .GIF with no background or else photoshop will put a white background in it automatically

As Zeroh said, you do have to set the document on a transparent background, but you leave the background blank- any colouring attempts usually mess up. Once it is made, save the document in .PNG format (you will have to go through save as...) as Slomo said, and then you have a perfectly transparent background for whatever you use it on.

yeah dont forget to save as .PNG and you dont have to start with a transparent background, just when you are finished apply image, hide all the other layers and use the wad or just the eraser to get rid of the bits you dont need.

If you don't start of with transparent, everything you erase will be the color you chose.

oh yeah, forgot to add that you need to layer via cut the bg. or something like that.
