Focal is really weird, considering her face is not in it, but it does looks kinda nice. It's something different and it reminds me a bit of Wkkid's style. The font you chose on the "why" part wasn't a really good choice, I think keeping it Times new roman or Garamond, or a font like one of those would've been better.

I think if you clip it smaller to maybe a 380x130 size it woudl look better because the focal wouldn't be as scatterd/unfocused.

You need to burn the scattered shit on the left or something to darken it, as it draws attention more than the stock.
Not really understanding what the point of the clipping mask on there, but if it's really needed, at least fix the aspect ratio of it.
Fonts for the type need to be changed, and on the 'murder' it looks skewed, like you increased the tracking of it too much or something.

As big said, darken the left side up a little, and remove the clipping mask in the middle. I would also remove the text completely. Other than those things its a real nice tag.

I guess what everyone else is calling it is "clipping mask" but the blob in the middle shouldnt be there IMO. I think it would look better without the text but if you do what kabooz said it would make the "why" go better with it.
Other than that nice job.
