While that is nice and dandy, defending your art isn't your best option.
Maybe for once in your life you aren't completely correct. I mean the actual art piece itself, you could love it, but that doesn't make it perfect. There is always room for CnC.

That is actually quite truthfully two of the most boring sigs I've seen in my life.

A minimalistic sig does not confine just to brushing + sprite. Those sigs have no effects that are worth a second glance. A minimalistic sig doesn't mean that you should have two layers, a minimalistic sig can have a shitload of layers, but still the sleek and simple look of it.

I wouldn't even CALL that minimalistic, it's cluttered and boring.


You mentioned that you only took an artists point of view on your work. If I were you I would shoot that fucker for lying.

I didnt think they were that bad. Yeah they could of had more work put into them but they werent "bad." But take these peoples CnC. They might not word it in the best way but they know what there talking about.

On topic, I feel like for your attempt at depth you kind of just took your blur tool and blurred parts you felt should have been out of focus. I always found it best to incorporate depth throughout the entire tag, and not just at the very end. It gives it a more realistic look to the tag.

With that said, imo both tags are killed by a severe lack of depth. Minimalistic or not, the lack of depth hurts it bad. With that little amount of effects your depth has to be spot on or the tag won't catch anyone's eye. Effects are usually what do that but seeing as you have a lack of that the depth would have to be the eye grabber. Needless to say, I don't have the inclination to look at those tags more than once =\

I kind of agree i didnt wanna be rude but...they are a bit boring.

Sparduh: I'll trust your opinion then, and I'm not going to jump out and bite you (unless you ask nicely, that is). Since you understand the logistics of TRUE tagging. And you're right, depth isn't there, and I actually didn't blur anything on purpose. I sharpened, since they were already blurred, and it was blurry just from working in Photoshop, not even me trying to make it that way.
