Ok well I want to help out as much as I can with the site since its starting up so I got the idea to "try" to make a skin. Ive never done this before and I've only dont the header/login menu so tell me if you guys like it or would use it because if none of you like it I might stop doing it or keep going just for practice. So let me know!

I don't think I would use it sorry man. The buttons seem to plain and the banner is to big in my opinion.

Looks pretty sick except the render of Master Chief sticks out like a sore thumb and his positioning gives the huge header really ugly negative space. If you reduced the size and got rid of that red pattern across it would look better. Maybe make the patter darkish grey fade into the top? The logout and taskbar are pretty clean though.

I was affraid the header would be too big too Ill prolly make it smaller. Its not a render of MC the whole Header is a stock I just did some layer styles and erased the pattern from over his head. Thanks for posting

Like I told you on AIM, I don't like the banner at all, but the skin is sexy as hell so far. I want you to keep going with it.

Well the way it looks, it seems to be a cutout. Maybe use a cutout so you can work more with header.

well i cant really say it was better than my first skin... because mine was the GoW one... but its not bad. Its a lot tougher isn't it? now for some C&C

there needs to be more detail in the header. and the checkerboard thing u got going there totally kills it. the MC render sticks out horribly and the banner is too big. try using stocks for the header like i did with my skin, they are a lot easier to work with.

Also, when making the header, make it on a different file from the skin itself, so u can concentrate on what you want in it. then save a JPG version and just import it onto the skin.

Placeholder text gets really messy if you are doing it along the way, just wait till the end if you're gunna put it in at all.

I'll use it as long as there is a View new post button. Other then that I seriously don't care which skin im using

3rd..that is a stock..ill try to work with it and the effects
4th..Its all seperate. Lots of layers all put in folders for each thing. I just put it all together for you guys to get a good look at it same with the text
