Default Why does rank matter?
I know most of you are going to say "Well it proves your good" or somthing, but well infact it accualy doesn't. On average most players can go from a 10 to a 50 in 5-6 days of mainly machmaking in doubles, or TS. I'm a captain with a 28 and I personaly know rank doesn't matter becuase ive been told """"told"""" that I have the skills of a AVG brigader. And the only reason I don't rank up is becuase I like customs and social alot more becuase of the gametypes that are in it, and of course the lack of skill in my friends :p (and going alone never works out well :/. So tell me your opinion WHAT DO YOU THINK??

There's so many factors that effect a ranks realisticness.

Mine for example is that I just got a new account and then my buddys lose far more games for me than i should have. I mean like buddys that come over and dont have live

That's why I didn't like the addition of (military) rank along with level. Your highest level means nothing, why do you get to rank up based on that? It's bull.

But truth be told, Outlawz has it right. Rank means nothing.

Actually most people from this site dont think rank matters at all. I agree with everyone else, it means nothing.
But the whole idea of mm sucks. PLAY CUSTOMS! :smilewide:

I totally agree with all of your sayings, but I just have one thing to add. The only reason I want a 45 is because It has always been a goal for me to reach in halo 3, ever scince a friend of mine did it within about 3 weeks of the game coming out, now he doesn't even play halo anymore LOL. I'm sick of seeing a 44 with 3 stars and a bar under it... (main account that got locked, Lone Wolves FTW) I just want to see a bird sometime soon, I'm not even going to try for general.

One guy that I play with a lot gets his rank up for just achieving something in Halo. Kind of like killing all the birds in GTA4. Nothing to do with skill.
