You get 1 RP point for winning any game, on any playlist. In any "rumble" playlists you get 1 RP point for getting 1st through 3rd place.

What's the whole point of RP points. They seem pretty worthless now that I know you can earn them in team training.

Allright...

Basically... there is a level for each matchmaking playlist, just like in halo 2.

Ex.
Rumble Pit: 48
Team Slayer: 34

There are no symbols anymore, just numbers.

Then there is a military rank. Your military rank goes up when you reach a certain amount of "RP". Each win, tie, or 1st-3rd In Rumble Pit/Training, gets you an RP point.

The ranks seem to be a good idea because after you get to level 50 in a playlist you can still get your rank up.
