I personally think Highground is slightly im-balanced, I think the team that spawns in the base is at a slight disadvantage when it comes to weapons. The team that spawns beach, will have a great advantage if they have a good sniper with good teammates backing him up. The team that spawns in the base does get the spartan laser but that can be easily stolen with the team using the grav-lift, also the sniper can use his scope to easily spot anyone going up to the laser tower and can get nades thrown in there!

My solution to this problem would be to change the laser spawn to inside the base and have a sniper spawn in the base, this means one team has the rockets and a sniper and the laser and a sniper.

if the base spawned with a sniper it would be realy bad for the ppl on the beach. thay dont have as much to hide behind and there also attacking, so that makes them need a lil bit more fire power cuz the attacking team is already at a disadvantage all the base needs is a proper set up and thay will win the rush 8 out of 10 times. i see what ur saying tho the base team doesnt have much fire power at all. i would say to put the laser at a better place (like u said)

There is no possible way that Rockets could even begin to compare with the Spartan Laser. They suck in H3...

Personally I haven't really noticed. Even on the games that I start off in the base I still end up with the sniper. It's a bad spawn point for it, but easily acquired once you learn how to navigate the map w/o the sniper getting a clean shot on you.

Personally, I think they should move the laser back to the building where the 5th territory is (By the tunnel), and move the sniper inside the little bunker w/ the hatch. Or have the snipe on top of the hatch where the needler spawns, and then have rockets spawn where snipe spawns now.

I think its fine the way it is but seeing that its called High Ground and it has a big base, isnt the point for the people "attacking" the base have a disadvantage?

well bungie made that map to give the defensive side the advantage, but whats funny is that defense spawns in the base, so its kinda backward. i do agree with you though, a good sniper on offense can win the game.
