how do you find out the username and password ?

this doesnt work.... http://192.168.1.1 isnt even a site..
and it doesn come up with anything to do with d-link

and '192.168.1.50' doesnt work (after i found the right site.. which wasnt CLOSE to your queer link)

Yea I went to my DMZ and it gave me the box to type in an IP address and the check the enable part..But the the IP to finish is 192.168.2.
and I also had to type 192.169.2.1 in the address bar to get to my router page..so what do I type in the box? 192.168.2.50?

thanks scott great tut but i have a question i did everything i said and it all worked fine but when i went to play halo it still says my nat is not open should that have gone away after i did all of this or sometimes it doesnt?

Make sure you've restarted your Xbox and router.

If it doesn't work, just follow the guide on portforward.com for your particular router. It'll show you how to forward your ports.

When it tells you to enter a static IP for the ports, just enter the IP you put into your Xbox (eg. 192.168.1.50).

Did you try reseting your router (and modem) after you made the changes?
