Why would you start caring about Halo? You realize that those weapons are exclusive to that Campaign add on, and the rest of the game is just maps for the Halo 3 we already own?

You're not going to get that gun in multiplayer.

Yes we are, it will be in Halo: Reach, which they also just announced.

Why do you think that's the Halo 1 pistol? It can be the magnum for all you know... He probably just said that b/c he headshot grunts with it...

I wouldnt get my hopes up but it does look good.
Just because you cant play with the pistol on h3 doesnt mean that it wont be good in this game.
It does kind of scare me that it shoots so fast, i doubt it will be as strong as the H1 pistol with it shooting that fast. Thats kind of how fast the h2 pistol and we all know how much that worked out.

its scopes so obviously it has more power then the h2 pistol.

i wasn't aware that odst was just a new campaign + new h3 multiplayer maps. Hopefully bungie has realized how much people miss the pistol and have plans for it in their next game.

That was gameplay from ODST. You can't just assume it will be in Reach. I could be missing something of course, I'm pretty sure that's whats going on.

I don't think a weapon with a scope on it makes it more powerful, sir. Not to mention, it shoots like a Magnum, not like the M6D.

I can't think of anything besides the h1 pistol, BR, sniper and rockets that have scopes (minus laser), so assuming it the new pistol is powerful isn't very far fetched.
