The players will be ranked by doing the following:

Players not attending Meadowlands: These players must play me in a 1v1. The players get 1 point multiplied by the difference in our scores + 5 for winning (i.e. If you beat me 15-7, you begin with 13 points). If you lose, you earn 0 points unless you get 11 or more kills. For each kill over 10, you get 1 point (i.e. If I beat you 15-13, you begin with 3 points). If you do not play me, you begin with 0 points.

Players attending Meadowlands: These players will earn 5 points times the number of rounds that they reach in the ffa tournament at MLG Meadowlands (i.e. If you are eliminated in 4th round ffa, you begin with 20 points). There is a maximum of 20 points for this. If you are eliminated 1st round, you begin with 0 points.

I will be creating a clan entitled "HoC 1v1 Ladder". You may either join this clan, or send a friend request to Tedums the Noob. I will quit out of any game to make sure that I play everyone who asks to play.

All changes that have been made are in red.

Starting on Monday, the 1v1 ladder will be in full swing.

Here is how the scoring will be done. For winning a game against someone ranked higher than you, you get 3 points for winning plus 1 point for every spot ahead of you that that person was (i.e. If the 4th ranked player beats the 2nd ranked player, he gets 5 points). A maximum of 10 points can be won in won game. For beating players ranked below you, you receive 4 points for winning, minus 1 for every spot below you, without dropping below 1 (i.e. If the number 2nd ranked player beats the 4th ranked player, he gets 2 points). For losing to someone ranked lower than you, you lose 2 points. For losing to someone ranked higher than you, you don't lose any points. For winning against someone who is the same rank as you, you win 2 points if on host and 3 points if off host. For losing to someone with the same rank as you, you do not lose any points.

Now, this is not to say that players can continually beat the same player. Over the course of the ladder (from end of Meadowlands to beginning of Dallas) players may only challenge the same player 5 times.

The rules will always be Lockout, rifles, double time weapon respawns. No exceptions.

Host is given to the player who has played the most games so far in the ladder. If both players have played the same amount of games, host is given to the lower ranked player.

There will be big prizes for this tournament. If a total of 150 games are played combined, the first place finisher will recieve either an Xbox 360 12 month subscription*, an Xbox 360 wireless controller (black or white), or an Xbox 360 Plantronics headset (winner's choice); The second place finisher will recieve an Xbox 360 3 month subscription*; Finally, the players will vote on a most improved player, and that player will recieve an Xbox 360 1 month subscription*. Overall, if 200 games are played IN TOTAL, the will be a prize pool of nearly $100.
*If winner does not have an Xbox 360, he can renew the accounts.

Overall, these big time prizes will be given out only if you members make it happen. If you don't post your games or play any, there will be no prizes. But if you tell everyone about the tournament and play a lot of games, you will be rewarded.

Its a smart thing to make pre-rankings. Except honestly i think the FFA's should be +3 per round or something. Honestly, i see many good kids get knocked out 1st or 2nd round of Meadowlands, and i would not be surprised if that happens to some of the HoCers.

Ill probably lose to you in a 1v1, for i dont play Halo much anymore and havent played a 1v1 in probably 2 or 3 months.
