When do you guys think Halo 2 Xbox Live will be cut off. In my opinion it is going to be sooner rather than later because Halo 3 is getting a rather good review even though it is still the Beta.

Why would it be cut off?
That really does not make sense. Some kids still just have regular xboxes and will not be able to play h3.

I don't know..will they seriously cut of XBL for a game?

Bungie did announce that they would cut the feed for the Halo 2 eventually when the player numbers are reduced and it will also be to help sell Xbox 360's and Halo 3.

Ok well i can understand that now. It will help the money income on both the system and the game. But it could also piss gamers off.

Never, they wont cut a game off because a new one is on the brink.

I can understand that, but i believe it will be a year to a year and a half after Halo 3's realease before they cut the feed. But by then i think about 96% of the Halo community will already have a 360.

Even then, the dedicated Halo 2 players will just use XBC, so it wont make an impact anyway.

NO WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY will this be any time soon. There are so many games that are still on live that nobody plays, like the older Maddens, PGR 2. It will be a looooooong time..IMO

LOL me too. But this is the first I've heard about XBL removing h2. I hope its not till next year because i'm not getting a 360 till xmas.
