It was announced today that come the Xbox 360 fall update will include the option to download old school Xbox games including Halo Combat Evolved. The games will cost 1200 microsoft points (aproximately £10.20) and will be available on the 2nd of December once the fall update has been released.

Will this inlclude Xbox Live compatiability for multiplayer, no-one knows just yet, however it most likely will not.

Third-party reports claim the preliminary lineup will include Halo, Fable, Indigo Prophecy, Crimson Skies, Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath Of Cortex and Burnout 3.

In all honesty I don't think they'd make it XBL compatible. I mean, if they did, I'd never play Halo 3 or 2 again(Maybe if I needed a good laugh). But imagine the size of this file that it's going to be. I mean it's a whole fucking game. I'd buy it in an instant, but it'd take a day to download, lol.

If it has XBL then yes I'll get Halo 1 but I doubt it will. I already own the game so I wouldn't bother to download it.
