After I got my dbl team 50 on zBIGGS, I jumped on The MLG BIGGS to help a friend....

I started as a 41 and he was a 48....I got to a 50 and he was still a 48.....We won 6 more straight on my 50, and he remained a 48. Haha

that's halo 3 for you. i've won 15 straight games on my 47 yet it refuses to go up. i've also won like 10 straight on a 46. you just gotta get your levels when you get a new account, then get exp.

LOL Its cause he has a lot of XP. If you have a lot it wont let you level up no matter what. He will have to win a LOT (30+ i think) to go up each level or he needs to delevel his XP so it will let him go up faster.

I don't think that is it anymore. BIGGS went up because he carried (I assume he did atleast.) You have to consistently beat people of higher ranks and skill in order to rank up. You can lose here and there as long as the other team by stats, are better. If you lose to a group of statistically lower rank or level, it is going to really hurt your momentum. I used to think the same thing but when I went from a 48-49 and then a 49-50 in TS....I won most the games but a few here and there to players with better stats. From a 49-50, it took about 10 games and I probably won 8 outta the ten but went positive every game and consistently beat statistically better players. You can't lose to lower levels, period!

Edit - After reviewing about a dozen of games, I can see why. Ya'll indeed played lower levels and when ya'll played 50's, he always went negative.

It doesnt matter how good or bad you do in the game.. It matters what rank your teammates are and what rank the other team is. The best way to level up is to get a friend to make a one month and just quit out of games so they have like -50 exp.. Then go in and you will level up very fast. Also if the other team is all Generals you will level up faster as opposed to if the team was full of sergants.

It is plain to see right here! BIGGs leveled up all the way to a 50 from a 41 while his buddy never moved from a 48. Hmmm, it is pretty obvious to me that the better you play, the more/faster you go up. You CAN get carried to a 50 but it is going to take you longer. You can't say that it doesn't matter how good you do, the games played here are evidence.
