The whole one mouse button thing is just... Retarded... And the overall feel of windows is so much easier to get used to than macs...

Who says you need to use a mac mouse? Just unhook your reg' pc mouse and hook it up on your mac.
Not to mention that mac's treat programs like pop ups, everything is a different part so you can, if you have 2 or more screens, get the full canvas in one screen and all the tools in the other which makes for a much cleaner and easier working space, not to mention that you can work easier because your screen isn't cluttered with all the tools.

Also, I have worked with Linux, knopix, windows (from 95-vista) and a couple of mac versions and honestly, I prefer all of the others over Windows. Windows seems to crash a lot and all it is is trying to be a huge gimmick, I mean look at vista...those see through thingies, the glass look, it's just windows XP with a nicer look. Not to mention that windows takes up tons of disk space and eats your ram worse than Gamecam does.

Mac is basic and too the point, not to mention that you really are getting a computer that you don't need to upgrade after like 4-5 years, because they still run the latest programs, the still are able to work fast, they don't die out.

And about the dual monitor thing, believe me, if you want to be a graphics designer and do a good job at it, you will have to have two monitors or else you are constantly switching programs, not to mention that if you work at a company, as a overall designer of whatever, macs are way easier then windows based pc's.

In conclusion, Mac > windows.

Its not a question of which is better or worse, Its a question of which you are more comfortable using... For me, Personally, I like windows better than macs.

Is it? I really do think so because, in general macs are used far more than regular pc's. And I think that has its reasons. I am not saying because of that it's better but I think that, if schools (at least they do in Holland) make you get a mac because they, the professionals that know wtf they are talking about, say it's easier and better to use.

I know, it's is personal preference but if the majority says it's better and easier to use, wouldn't it be more logical to get used to a mac? To get one and actually learn with it?

Well, seeing that Mac's have never crashed on me and windows based pc's have done that so many times, I prefer the better working system.
