Every player will receive a clan invite into the tournament clan. Both players must be in the clan by Monday, July 23rd or their position in the tournament will be forfeited. If any player needs another clan invite, please post in this thread.

Substitutes will be invited into the clan along with the starting players. If a starting team does not show up, a tournament staff member will invite the substitutes to joing the party, and the first team to join the party will replace the missing team. WE WILL STILL BE ACCEPTING SUBSTITUTE TEAMS THROUGHOUT THE WEEK, SO SIGN-UP IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY.

Rounds 1 and 2 of the HoC 2v2 Tournament will take place on Tuesday, July 24th at 8 PM EST/7 PM CST/5 PM PST

Rounds 3, 4 and 5 of the HoC 2v2 Tournament will take place on Thursday, July 26th at 8 PM EST/7 PM CST/5 PM PST

This will be a 32 team, single elimination tournament. All rounds will be a best 2/3 series.

Round 1: 32 teams, 16 best 2/3 series, winners advance
Round 2: 16 teams, 8 best 2/3 series, winners advance
Round 3: 8 teams, 4 best 2/3 series, winners advance
Round 4: 4 teams, 2 best 2/3 series, winners advance
Round 5: 2 teams, 1 best 2/3 series, winner wins

The following are the rules for the tournament. The games will all be slayer and will be held on Warlock, Midship, and Lockout.

Suicide Penalty: None
Motion Sensor: Off
Team Changing: Off
Respawn Time Modifier: None
Betrayal Penalty: None
Starting Weapon: Battle Rifle
Weapon Respawn Time: Double Time
Round Time Limit: 15
Score to Win Round: 50
Weapons on Map: Rifles

Here are the gametypes for each round:

Round 1: Lockout, Midship, Warlock*
Round 2: Midship, Warlock, Lockout*
Round 3: Warlock, Lockout, Midship*
Round 4: Lockout, Midship, Warlock*
*If necessary

Host will be given to the best seeded team in game 1, the other team in game 2, and the team with the most combined kills from games 1 and 2 in game 3.

Prizes:
1st place: $40
2nd place: $20
3rd place: 2 48 hour Xbox Live subscriptions

At the end of the tournament, a MVP will be decided on by the Tournament Staff. The MVP will receive a 13 month subscription to Xbox Live.

To make a transaction, such as changing a team member, one must post the change in this thread and have the new player confirm his position by posting in this thread aswell. Transactions will be accepted until Sunday, July 22nd.
