HoC 2v2 H3 Tourney :: RESCHEDULE - Halo 3 Forum

Seriously, i'm really sorry but we have to reschedule this tournament until November 12th and 13th. (mondayand tuesday) I realize the inconvenience but there was about maybe at least four teams that got to play their right games tonight. Obviously this is such a short notice and I know a lot of you are going to be mad and flame, but whatever shit happens.

So to those who got to play their games tonight and won them will go on to the next round but the next round will take place Tuesday and from there Wednesday. To everyone else who got forfeits you will advance regularly. To those who got by's you will play your games tuesday night.

Our apologies, and hopefully this doesn't come down too hard on everyones schedules but we feel it is needed and is the best decision we can make.

Bad decision, I think that if you have a tournament on a date, then you don't change the date. Whoever shows shows.

we might as well had been playing a 1v1 tournament...

there were teams with 1 person and then teams that werent there period, and teams that bitched about the most random things... you should have been there... it was as fun as it gets

The bitching doesn't matter. It was simply what we had to do it was the easiest thing to do. It seemed moronic to run a tournament when everyone is going to get by's until like the 3rd round.

Things like this piss me off

I can understand if something comes up, or they just can't or have decided NOT to play, but if people say they will show up, then don't and then fail to provide a worthwhile reason on why they couldn't show up and why they didn't alert you to their absence pre-tourney, BAN them. Period.

This has been going on since omega, people would do the exact same thing, then sign up again and bail again. There HAS to be some consequences to those people who do this, it's not fair to the people who actually take time out of their day to play in the tourney. Basically people who were responsible enough to show up, deserve the shot at the prizes, regardless of how many byes you'd be forced to giving them.
