if you scar or burn yourself,or have someone else scar or burn you on purpose,that is injuring yourself,therefor self injury,i dont see where your coming from on this one,maybe i'm missing something,but all im saying is if you purposely scar or burn yourself,then that is injuring yourself is it not?

No piercings for me, girlfriend has a fair few in her ear, one is some crazy spiral thing..called an industrial maybe?

Eitherway, scarring and burning on purpose does not mean injury, unless you are a masochyst (someone help me with spelling that). Masochysm involves no form or art, no creativity or whatever. Masochysm is just hurting yourself for the same of hurting yourself. Scarification and burnification, together with piercing and tattooing, isn't masochysm/self injury because it's about making the body more beautifull, not just fucking it up with ugly scars.
I mean, you can be against self scarring or burning but you have to admit that most if not all of the scarrings are beautifull. Some are terribly lame though like XXX in the back of your neck.

That's crazy. Idk, I just wouldn't want to fuck my body up that much to say I stand out from everyone, am original, etc. partly because, well, everyone already is.

Im not doing it for any of those reasons.
