This is to stop all of the confusion and the millions of threads.
Ok, the "Halomega Situation". As most people know, HoC was not always the abbreviation of the site people know as Halomega. Once upon a time, there was a site called Halownage, owned by Paul and Syko. Paul disappeared, and Syko decided to take it upon himself to open a whole new site, which we know as Halomega. Not too long ago, Halomega was at it's peak in activity. We were getting just about 50 new members per day, and activity skyrocketed. Vorlx and Syko then left the site, and that's where things started to go downhill. Shark was very inactive, and definitely not a good Admin. He was never on when we needed him to, and when he was on, he was spamming up the Off Topic Section doing nothing to help out the site. So, Vorlx and Syko stepped back in as Admins, to help Shark. Meanwhile, Shark continued to not do anything. Then, Shark sold it. So, here we are. Vorlx and Syko decided to do this because they know how much we loved this forum, and they loved it the same. They are doing this for us, they gain nothing. Remember that. So, Z of course, approached him and informed him on the supposed "Reopening of Halownage" which Z conveniently knew about. Shark then acted quick, and of course sold the site to some random guys who apparently are just trying to make money. This isn't something we just "decided to do". We've been discussing this for awhile now, we've just managed to keep it on the downlow. Well, since the "word got out" and everyone was going to figure out soon enough, we decided to open it early. This is NOT a finished site. This is just basically a Beta Forum to let you guys know that we will be reopening shortly. This weekend, and possibly even later tonight, you will experience some downtime, where we will be working hard on the site. We have a custom skin coming, and updates that your little minds can't even imagine. Believe me, soon, this site will do things Halomega could never, ever do. Don't freak out. Trust us on this one. You, will, love it.
