I am going to sway from my original format of letting everyone every little new thing I have done and kind of just discuss some general things.

The site is a few weeks old now and a lot of things have changed since launch. Things are finally starting to calm down. I am still working on a lot of behind the scene things to give you a more complete forum experience. The beta contests, discussions, videos were all a good kickstart. Activity might start dieing back down a bit as it closes out. However, we will start rolling out new contests, events, etc. We haven't had a lot of videos or a ton of announcements but I have been working on gearing the site to more a 'fan' site versus a 'w3 4R3 l33t s1t3' because that is truly my vision and honestly has been for awhile. I want users of all skill levels to be able to come here and have a good experience. Whether you have been playing since H1 first hit the shelves or your Mom finally broke down and bought you an xbox. I want everyone to keep this in mind when welcoming new users and going on the BK rampage that some of you do. I understand the competitive nature of gaming and expect some general back and forth talk. I just don't want members talking down to new members based on their appearance, skill (or lack there of), etc.

That being said there will be a lot of changes over the next few months. We have several custom skins that are being coded, contests that will be rolled out, promotions being done, etc, etc. The biggest thing right now is some change in roles. Syko will be out of pocket on his trip to Iraq and will be without internet access for an undetermined amount of time. He could have it in a couple weeks, a couple months, or not at all. Don't be alarmed as we have worked through this before. One of the biggest things before and this has been the case for awhile now is financing. Paul has a great vision for the site and is willing to invest the money to get it there. So over time we will not have any of the financial difficulties we faced in the past.

Anyway, right now, we have not done any promotional work outside of the basic cotw contests. I would like everyone who enjoys this site to let their friends know.

I think this about sums it up. As usual please let me know how you think the site is doing, how you think the admins are doing, how you think the staff is doing, etc. We need your feedback.

One thing i just noticed like 2 minutes ago was a thing on the bottom saying how much the site grew in a month or something like that...it really impressed me...lol.

I cant wait to have more skins, i hope theyre as good as our current.

So far it's doing great, the only thing I'd like to see is post count in the off topic..not that I care about post count but I think it's kinda biased to have no post count there but we do in all other sections ('cept water cooler).

Honestly, I agree with you. However this was something that was put into place back in the day before I came around and most everyone agrees with it. So I have stuck with it. Its all about being more lenient on spam and content in the off-topic. The trade off to it being that way was that the post count wouldn't count. I think its a fair trade.

Idk..I'd love to see post count there, but if the majority doesn't want it, I'm okay with that.

all that sounds great! im glad the site is coming around and getting better, and its only a few weeks old. the only thing i think that should be done is have the top 5 or even top 10 newest members cuz i cant take the newest member, so please put more
