As you know one of the biggest problems we have on the site (and have for most of it's existance) is the lack News, Updates, etc. We just have never (at least for any extended period of time) had anyone that was good at it. The last time we had steady site updates (related to Halo and not just the site) was back in the Dymdez days. He would spend 100 million hours talking to everone and seeking out news and things to post as updates in the Halo world. It was one of the things he was really good at. Now granted it did burn him out in a very short time frame. Anyway, I have never personally been good at this because I am not even in the Halo scene much less have time for it if I was. I am your behind the scenes Admin.

That being said what we are looking for is someone, within our current user base (new or old), that is. I am reaching out to you guys to either nominate someone you think would be good at this or nominate yourself. If you are interested then please PM me your information. Basically give me a brief background about yourself, who you are, how much time you have available, and why you believe that you would be good at this position.

Keep the flames to yourself and all the you suck I hate you antics somewhere else.

well godfather was pretty cool. but, i havent seen or heard from him in a few days.
we do need some one like what your talking about. i dont have the time to do it, but i might try and find some stuff here and there to help out.

I'm confused. Are you looking for someone to read up on what's going on in the Halo world then create a thread dedicated to the updates and news you find? I could be pretty good at that, I do a lot of reading on Halo sites.

I have a small suggestion. Instead of ultimately leaving it up to that one person, members should also chip in a little bit and suggest links/articles and other things of Halo interest.

Yes, sorta. That would definitely be one aspect. It wouldn't be strictly enforced so the person would have allot of flexibility in how it panned out. Giving a personal twist/view on things going on. Sometimes it could be a simple cut and paste giving credit to the original author. Other times it would be a complete rewrite/review etc. I have challenged the staff and ultimately the members to do stuff similar to this in the past with little to no luck. Ultimately the person put in charge of this could handle it in a number of ways including but not limited to trying to get the involvement of the members.
