There's ZERO continuity with montages. It's merely a simple matter of putting together clips that sync well and provide the correct feel for the moment.

I'm busy working on a documentary right now as well as producing "The Mill" short film. I'm even thinking about throwing that into some festival or something...

Well I like to consider myself as more of an overall director than solely an editor. I do enjoy editing, but I don't think that's where my strengths lie. I can tell you right now that I'm terrible at scriptwriting. Someone would need to hand me a script and say, "film this now!"

Jake and his high school friend Jim have edited music videos for Geri Halliwell, The Spice Girls, Robbie Williams, Super Furry Animals and loads of others, and done plenty of TV adverts.

I was speaking to him a few weeks ago about how he got into editing and he was saying well really I wanna be a Director, i've done bits and pieces of all parts of production but that's where I wanna be. So atm he is making a living from editing but directing is where he wants to be.

lol ill get the short done soon and upload it. It's HORRIBLE by todays standard but he made it in 1950 at the ages 0f 16 without any equipment apart from a lens that was hooked up to a vcr and a keyboard and microphone. It's amazing when you keep all that in mind.

Right that's fairly badass.
