Default Need help with capture card

Ok I have an Ati Wonder Pro, and capture in Vdub. When i capture The video capture is extremely laggy, and when I render the clips they are always at the wrong speed, like the rendered clip will go 10x faster or slower than it should. I have a good amount of ram (2.8 gb's) so I know that's not the problem. Now that makes me look towards the processor. I have a 2Ghz processor and I dont know if that is a good processor to capture with an Ati and still get good quality, and I'm wondering if I should get a new one, or if there is a simpler soulution for my problem. If anyone knows anything or has any information that might help with my capture please respond in this thread or contact me via AIM @ ixNiT3ViSioNxi. Thanks.

Mess around with the settings in vdub. Every tutorial I've tried always resulted in laggy video with vdub. I'll post my settings, you can try them out and see if they help

I had a problem I vaguely remember, with lagginess. I remember ending the desktop process while recording and setting my cap cards priority to realtime, but I have no idea if that'd work or if it even apply's to your situation

Also press CTRL + ALT + Delete and find vdub under precesses. Right click on vdub and set priority to hight, should really help.

I already end all my not needed processes including explorer and set vdub's priority to realtime but it still lags :\ but thanks for trying man I really appreciate it. I guess my computer is just to shitty to do what i want.
