DE-Interlacing with Virtual Dub Well I have had many people ask me how to DE-Interlace there clips as the laced version of any clip looks quite disgusting. If you record in virtual dub already, you can do this the first time you are saving the clip, and for your clips you have already saved, you will just have to redo the steps for those that are laced. Well this is how I do it to still keep rape nasty quality. I will be doing this by taking a laced clip I already have saved, and then DE-Interlacing it. NOTE: DE-Interlace clips while they are still AVI if your clips are in AVI. If your clips aren't in AVI, then DE-Interlace them before converting or compressing them in all cases and then after compress or convert them. First step will to be to open up virtual dub and then go to File>Open Video File>Select File This will open your clip in virtual dub and be one step closer to being done. Next you will need to go to Video>Filters.. and then you will have a screen like so: ![]() Then you will need to select the Add button and then you will open a window with a list of filters and you will need to select the "DE-INTERLACE" filter. This will open up a screen just like this: ![]() You will need to select the mode I selected which is where it blends the fields together. Then click OK and OK again then go to FILE>Save Segmented AVI>Select where. This will save your clip DEINTERLACED to your specified folder and should help your problems out. Here is my quality DE-Interlaced DEINTERLACED *If you want to take this to any forum, go ahead, as long as you give me credit* |
